I have only been in one decent offshore shop in my life, Suzuki City, in Biloxi MS. There are two here in Memphis, and next time I need something for my Savage pr Lisa's Intruder, I'm calling Mike in Biloxi and have him ship me what I need. I could have swapped out the tire myself and had the bike back on the road by now. As for continuing to do business with the M.I.J. bike companies or shops, forget it. When the Savage dies, I'm through with them. This is my third metric road bike, and since all three came with lousy dealer support and poor build quality, the next one I build for myself, out of pre-70 or pre-54 HD/Indian parts. The hassle of dealing with the asian market bikes just isn't worth the initial cost savings.
